SHERWOOD TWP, BRANCH CO (WTVB) A biker was able to walk away with apparent minor injuries following an overnight car-motorcycle collision at a highway intersection in northwest Branch County. It happened at M-60 and M-66 in SherwoodTownship. The motorcyclist, 38-year old Matthew Yoder of Sherwood went flying over the car after hitting the driver’s side door when the crash happened around 3:15 this morning. The other driver, identified as 34-year old Matthew French of Athens, told sheriff’s deputies he misjudged the speed and his distance from the motorcycle as he began to cross the intersection. French then started to backup but it was too late to prevent the accident. Yoder was taken to Battle Creek Bronson to be checked out.
