BLISSFIELD (WKZO) -- Police are trying to find an Ohio man suspected of killing his ex-girlfriend and her sister in Blissfield on Saturday.  A manhunt has been launched for 38-year-old Thomas Fritz of Sylvania, who is believed to have fled to the Buckeye State and spent nearly a year in an Ohio prison for sexual battery from May 2007 to April 2008.

The murders of 34-year-old Amy Merrill and 24-year-old Lisa Gritzmaker bring to 26 the number of homicides in the metro Toledo area this year.  Police say the mother of the girls was also shot but is expected to live.
