Michigan legendary hockey coach Red Berenson will be around Ann Arbor for at least another 3 years. The university announced Monday that the 72-year old Berenson had agreed to a 3-year contract extension that will keep him with the Wolverines through the 2015-2016 season. He’s been in charge of the Michigan hockey program for 28 years. Under Berenson, the Wolverines have won 2 national titles, 9 CCHA tournament championships and 11 regular season league titles.
