BRONSON (WTVB) - They crowned a King and Queen Thursday night during the opening ceremonies for the 43rd Annual Bronson Polish Festival. Ray Weinberg was named King and Adelia Kubasiak was named Queen. Other royality includes Prince J.J. Hyska, son of Frank and Linda Hyska,Princess: Chanelle Gunthorp, daughter of Tami Ludwick, Junior Prince David Milliman, son of Eric & Jennifer Milliman, and Junior Princess Sidney Swick, daughter of Steve & Kathy Swick. Both Gunthrop and Hyska are 2012 Bronson High School graduates.
Among the highlights of the festival Friday are a Street Dance from 6 pm-10 pm at Memorial Park and a Talent Show at the Bronson Community Center at 7 pm. Saturday’s activities include the annual Polish Festival Parade at 1 pm. The Grand Marshall for the parade, called the 3rd largest in the state of Michigan, is retiring Branch County Sheriff warren Canon The Bronson Athletic Boosters are the Honorary Grand Marshalls.
