PARK TOWNSHIP (WHTC) - A 37-year-old Park Township man is the fifth person to be arrested in connection with the ongoing crackdown on gangs in the Holland area. Desidario Amaro was arrested Thursday at his home on charges of being a felon in possession of ammunition. An affidavit filed with the U.S. District Court in Grand Rapids says 23 rounds of ammunition were found inside Amaro’s home. Holland Police and the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department have been working with state officials and the federal Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms on the crackdown. Arturo DeLeon, Ramon Gaytan Jr., Francisco Martinez Jr. and Ramon Morales are already in federal custody.
