CALIFORNIA TOWNSHIP, BRANCH CO (WTVB) - Three teenagers and an 11-year old boy were injured early last night in Branch County in a one-car rollover accident in California Township. Hurt the worst was the 16-year girl driving the Ford Explorer. She was ejected from the vehicle, suffering serious head trauma and was airlifted from the scene to Bronson hospital inKalamazoo. No names have been released. Michigan State Police say the front 17-year old male passenger was also ejected from the SUV and was taken toCameron Hospital in Angola for treatment. The rear male passangers, ages 15 and 11 years old, were released on scene after being treated by Lifecare Ambulance medics for non-life threatening injuries. The crash happened around 6 p.m. on Kelly Road near Southern Road as the car left the road and flipped over into the east side ditch of Kelly Road. State Police were also assisted by the Montgomery and Fremont fire departments . There was no word from troopers on any of the possible contributing factors to the accident.
