CALIFORNIA TOWNSHIP, BRANCH COUNTY (WTVB) - Michigan State Police Monday released the identity of a teenage girl who died of injuries suffered Friday evening in a one car rollover crash in Branch County’s California Township. Troopers said 16-year old Brooke Langley, a Camden-Frontier high school student, was driving the Ford Explorer and suffered serious head trauma when she was ejected from the vehicle in the accident on Kelly Road near Southern Road. She was airlifted from the scene to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo where she later passed away. A front seat passenger, 17-year old Robbie Barns, was also ejected from the SUV, and he’s reported in serious condition. Two other boys, ages 15 and 11, who were in the back seat, escaped with minor injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
