KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- The NCAA has ordered sanctions against Penn State that should cripple the football program for a decade, stripping it of bowl eligibility and scholarships for four years,
fining the program 60-million dollars and giving current athletes a free pass to transfer and play this season. WMU Communications Professor Keith Hearit says the NCAA has acted, and so has the Big Ten, the Justice department will levy its own fine. He is waiting for the steps the University takes to cleanse itself,
And he says there should be a proper housecleaning. He says some top administrators directly involved in the cover-up need to be fired and the board should be reorganized to be more manageable.
