The gasoline price spike continues in the Branch County area with another 15-cent a gallon increase yesterday. Some stations are up to around $3.80 a gallon, almost 50-cents higher than just a week ago. Fuel analyst Trilby Lundberg says the rise is because crude prices stopped dropping and wholesalers started passing the price of the higher crude cost to consumers.
