ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) - A welfare check evolved into a narcotics investigation, leading to the arrest of anAngolafather-son combo Friday. According to the Steuben County Sheriff’s Department, officers acted on a tip from a concerned citizen and executed a search warrant on the residence of 26-year-old Timothy J. Latta. They found over 30 grams of marijuana, associated paraphernalia, 13 firearms, and nearly $6,000 in cash. Latta and his father, 49-year-old Timothy D. Latta, were arrested for marijuana and paraphernalia possession and maintaining a common nuisance.
