LANSING (WKZO) -- A new Public Policy Poll shows opinions changing on the issue of gay marriage and civil unions.
Nearly three out of four Michigan residents now believe that gay couples should be allowed to get married or engage in civil unions, up from 62-percent last August. Republicans and independents are about evenly split on the issue.
The poll also showed that Democrats have a shot at reclaiming the Michigan House this fall with voters favoring generic democratic candidates 50 to 35-percent.
