The Lions returned to Allen Park yesterday for organized team activities. Running back Jahvid Best joined his teammates at practice, but has yet to be cleared for contact. Best, who hasn't played football since suffering a season ending concussion last October against the 49ers, told reporters yesterday he’s done talking about concussions and has no worries heading toward a new season.
Meanwhile, second year wide receiver Titus Young met with the media for the first time Monday since returning last week to training after being told to stay away after delivering a sucker-punch at camp to safety Louis Delmas.
Young declined to specifically address the incident involving Delmas but said his time off has given him perspective and that he believes time heals all wounds.
Delmas and running back Mikel Leshoure were sidelined for most of practice yesterday because of ankle injuries. And linebacker Stephen Tulloch sat out because of a sore knee.
