The NASCAR scene shifts this week to the Irish Hills and Michigan International Speedway with races on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, capped by the Sprint Cup Quicken Loan’s 400.
Yesterday, Joey Logano ended a three-year drought with a victory at the Pocono 400. The 22-year-old closed in on 53-year-old Mark Martin in the final laps to grab his second career victory
Logano became the first driver in 31 Sprint Cup races to win from the pole position, and led a race-high 49 laps. Defending Cup champion Tony Stewart finished third, while Jimmie Johnson bounced back from a pair of speeding penalties on pit road to finish fourth
