Test sessions are set for today at Michigan International Speedway for NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers, who will be checking out the new racing surface in preparation for Sunday’s Quicken Loans 400.
Carl Edwards ranks first all-time at MIS with an average finishing position of 8.2 among drivers with at least five Cup starts since 1969. Edwards won the June race at Michigan in 2007.
