(Lansing, MI) -- Governor Snyder says that a new agreement with Canada lays the groundwork for a New International Trade Crossing. The move, according to the governor, positions the state to thrive in a global economy while protecting Michigan from shouldering the project's costs. Governor Snyder says that the agreement is about more than building a bridge. He says, quote, "It's about building a future of economic strength and security for families across our entire state." The governor adds quote "The NITC will help Michigan farmers, entrepreneurs and manufacturers get their goods to market faster, as well as develop new customer bases."
