Sir Ridley Scott's sci-fi thriller Prometheus has taken over the U.K. box office chart for a second week.

The Alien prequel, starring Charlize Theron and Michael Fassbender, grossed $5 million (£3.14 million) to keep hold of the number one spot, ahead of Men In Black 3.

Another Theron movie, action adventure Snow White and the Huntsman, is at three, while horror film The Pack enters at four and The Avengers - titled Avengers Assemble for its British release - rounds out the top five.
