Detroit took two-of-three from the Rockies for their third straight series win and the victory pulled the third place Tigers to within 3-games of the Central Division leading White Sox, who lost 2-to-1 to the Dodgers.
The Tigers take the day off today before hosting the St. Louis Cardinals for a 3-game series beginning tomorrow night. The Cubs lost 7-to-4 last night to the Red Sox at Wrigley Field.
