It’s almost a must win tonight for the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game Four of the NBA Finals in Miami. The Heat grabbed a 2-to-1 lead in the best of seven series Sunday night with a 91-to-85 home win over the Thunder. No team has ever been able to rebounds from a 3-to-1 deficit in the Finals.
ESPN NBA analyst Jalen Rose says a key component of Miami’s surge in their recent victories besides the presence of the big 3 has been the contributions of Shane Battier who was Michigan’s Mr. Basketball 15 years ago at Detroit Country Day
If the Heat win tonight, they could close the series out in Game Five in Miami Thursday. If the Thunder extend the Finals, Games Six and Seven, if necessary, would be in Oklahoma City Sunday and next Tuesday.
