LANSING (WHTC) - American flags around the state are flying at half-staff today in honor of former state legislator Bill Van Regenmorter. Governor Snyder has ordered flags be lowered to half-staff until Friday to honor the longtime representative and senator, best known for developing Michigan’s crime victims rights constitutional amendment, who died Monday of Parkinson’s disease. Visitation for Van Regenmorter is tonight from 6-9 p.m. and again from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, at the Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home in Grandville. Services are at 11 a.m. Friday at Baldwin Street Christian Reformed Church in Jenison.
