A handful of players from teams in Detroit have made Forbes' list of annual earnings in The World's 100 Highest-Paid Athletes. With 36-million-dollars in earnings, Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh is 14th on the list. Detroit quarterback Matthew Stafford is 58th on the list at 20.9 million-dollars.
The Tigers' Miguel Cabrera, Prince Fielder and Justin Verlander made the list as well. Grand Rapids native, boxer Floyd Mayweather is at the top of the list after making 85-million-dollars over the last year. Mayweather is serving a 90-day sentence for a conviction last year on a domestic violence charge.
