COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) - How long has it been since you helped to clean the environment you live in? You’re opportunity is coming up in two weeks with an event in Coldwater along the Sauk River. The Branch Conservation District is asking for public and business volunteers willing to donate their time to come out on Saturday, July Seventh, to clean up the river, starting at Waterworks Park off Sprague Street, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
The Conservation District says sign up with your friends as a team of up to five people or join another team that has been started. They say they are also in need of financial donations to fund the project. To volunteer or donate, you can call or visit the Branch County Conservation District on North Willowbrook road, Coldwater. Conservation supporters say be one of the people that can say, they worked to better their community’s water ways.
