The Pistons continue to prep for this year’s NBA Draft coming up on Thursday. Detroitcurrently owns the ninth pick, and spent the last few weeks holding individual workouts and interviews with candidates. Those players include Jared Sullinger, Tyler Zeller, Terrence Jones, and John Henson. University of Kentucky power forward Anthony Davis is expected to be number-one pick.
Meanwhile, San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker may not be able to play in the upcoming Olympics. Parker suffered a scratched cornea after he was hit with a shard of glass in the eye during a fight at a club inNew York City earlier this month. According to "Sportando," Parker had surgery and risked losing the eye. Parker is slated to play forFrance, which opens Olympic play on July 29th against the United States. The fight in the club reportedly involved several pop singers and members of their entourages. Parker has sued the owners of the club for 20-million dollars.
