Jerry Sandusky's defense team might use an NBC taped interview with the former Penn State assistant football coach for the basis of an appeal. Sanduskywas convicted Friday night on 45 counts of child sexual abuse.
His lawyers had sought a mistrial before he was convicted, on the grounds that prosecutors showed jurors an inaccurate version of an NBC interview with Sandusky. NBC News had turned over three versions of the interview between Bob Costas and Sandusky which aired on several programs last November.
