MT. PLEASANT (WKZO) -- The search escalated over the weekend for a missing boy near Mount Pleasant. They searched a densely wooded area near the Saginaw/Chippewa reservation where 4-year old Carnell Chamberlain lived. The boy hasn’t been seen since Thursday.
Tribal officials say they are working to qualify the case for an amber alert. On a more ominous note, they also brought in cadaver dogs, and recruited about 100 volunteers to aid in the weekend search. He is described as about 3-feet tall with dark brown hair and green eyes.Investigators say his mother’s boyfriend is a person of interest in his disappearance and only minimally cooperative.
