Michigan State will be in the military spotlight once again this season.  Head coach Tom Izzo and the Spartans have agreed to open their upcoming campaign against Connecticut at Ramstein Air Base in Germany on November 9th. 

The contest still needs approval from the U.S. Department of Defense.  Last season, MSU played North Carolinain the Carrier Classic on the deck of the USS Carl Vinson in bay at San Diego.
