HUDSONVILLE (WHTC) - A Wyoming Park High School student has pleaded guilty to allowing minors to consume alcohol prior to a crash that killed two of his classmates. Shane Harlan entered the plea Wednesday in 58th District Court in Hudsonville. The 18-year-old hosted a party at his Allendale apartment the night of May 19 in which classmates from Wyoming Park attended. Shortly after that party, a crash on the westbound off-ramp of I-196 to Chicago Drive killed 17-year-old Timothy See and 15-year-old Krysta Howell. Another Park graduate, 17-year-old Takunda Mavima, is facing a felony drunk driving charge. Harlan could get 30 days in jail when he’s sentenced July 12.
