COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) - Branch County’s hottest weather since 1988 means you should take some extra precautions if you work or spend time outside today. Wear light weight and loose fitting clothing when possible and of course, drink plenty of water.
The National Weather Service Northern Indiana Office claims that the last time it hit at least 100 degrees around here was 24 years ago, on August First, 1988. It hit 101 degrees in Coldwater that day. The record high temperature for today, June 28th, is 102, set back in 1934.
