The U-of-M has announced updates to their non-conference schedules for the 2014-through-2016 seasons. The Wolverines will open the 2014 season at home against Appalachian State. The Mountaineers shocked the Wolverines with a 34-to-32 win in Ann Arborin 2007.

In 2015, Michigan will play a Thursday night game against Utah in Salt Lake City. The September 3rd contest will mark the first time in school history that U-of-M will play a Thursday night football game. 

In addition, Michigan and Notre Dame will take a two-year hiatus during the 2018 and 2019 seasons.
