UNDATED, MI (WKZO) -- A second lottery millionaire with a bridge card has turned up in Michigan. Leroy FIck of Auburn Hills was the first to raise a stink when he won 2-million and just kept using the card last year. Apparently Amanda Clayton missed that story. When she won a million, she kept waiting for them to cancel it, and they never did. DHS officials say they rely on the honesty of card holders to notify them when they come into money.
It’s prompted Senator Debbie Stabenow to call for reforms to make sure lottery winnings are included as income in Bridge Card eligibility. The Michigan House has approved a bill and the Senate is considering one that would require that DHS be notified of Lottery winner’s names.
