UNDATED (WTVB) - It's time to "spring ahead" this weekend. ESCAPE's Michael McLeieer wants to remind everyone that changing clocks for daylight saving time is a good time to change batteries in smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms, as well. He says there's more to add to that in the name of safety, noting that's it's also a good time to change the batteries in weather radios and flashlights to gear up for severe weather.
Clocks spring forward one hour at 2 a.m. Sunday.
