Defending Sprint Cup Champion Tony Stewart took the checkered flag in Sunday's Kobalt Tools 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It's the first victory on the one-and-a-half mile track for Stewart and the 45th of his career. He held off second-place finisher Jimmie Johnson on a restart with four laps to go to claim the win.
Greg Biffle came in third place, Stewart’s teammate Ryan Newman took fourth, and Carl Edwards rounded out the top-five. The NASCAR circuit heads to Bristol, Tennessee this coming weekend.
