On March 19, the web was abuzz with speculation that Kate Hudson had secretly wed her fiancé Matt Bellamy after the actress's mother, Goldie Hawn, was quoted in an interview saying, ""When my daughter Kate married an English rock star it didn't worry me.""

But thanks Twitter, Hawn was able to explain that she had simply been misquoted. ""Darling once again twisted the truth,"" she wrote. ""They aren't married.""

Hudson, 32, has been engaged to the Muse lead singer, 33, for almost a year now -- and she gave birth to their son Bingham in July. It's really only a matter of time before these two really do tie the knot.
