COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) - The predictions for freezing temperatures has farmers and gardeners worried about the damage that could come to tender flowers and crops that have already begun to bud following nearly two weeks of record warm readings with several days in the 80’s.
Asparagus farmers are especially keeping a close eye on the frosty forecast. Most of Southern Lower Michigan this morning had readings in the mid 30’s. The border counties are under a freeze watch while freeze warnings have been issued elsewhere.
