COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) - The Community Health Center of Branch County is putting out assurances that its patients are safe from products associated with the meningitis outbreak. The hospital in Coldwater says it has never used products packaged and distributed by New England Compounding Center.
Lorelei Grines, CHC Pharmacy Director, says Health Center patients do not need to be concerned if they have only received treatment at CHC. The state health department on Tuesday reported two additional deaths in Michigan, bringing the state’s list of fatalities to 8 and its total number of illnesses caused by the tainted steroid shots in the state to 93.
