HASTINGS, MI (WKZO) - A Hastings jury has found Michael Terpening guilty as charged in 8 of the 12 criminal sexual conduct counts he faced, including 2^nd and 3^rd Degree CSC. Terpening operated a group home for troubled and hard to place teenagers. The jury dismissed only the charges leveled by one of the witnesses, who had recanted his story at one point, and then reversed himself again and testified against Terpening. He faces up to 15 years for the most serious charges.
