IONIA COUNTY (WKZO) -- Trick or Treat? In this case an Ionia mother discovered what she considered a nasty trick in among the Tootsie Rolls and the mini-sized Hershey bars.

She found a gram of marijuana wrapped in a piece of cellophane. Some how it got slipped into her 4-year-old daughter’s trick or treat bag during the evening’s collection Wednesday night.

They couldn’t be sure who might have done it, and could only give a general description of the area they visited.

Police say there were too many fingerprints on the wrapper to get a clear print. They did commend the mother for checking and screening the candy in her daughter’s bag.
