running back Mikel Leshoure rushed for 3 touchdowns in the second quarter and Detroit dominated from start to finish in a 31-to-14 victory at Jacksonville.
Leshoure had a total of 70 yards on 16 carries to help the Lions improve their record to 4-and-4. He’s the first running back in Lion’s history to rush for 3 touchdowns in the first half.
Joique Bell added 73 yards on the ground and a score in Detroit’s second road win of the year. Lion’s quarterback Matthew Stafford made it a balanced attack, throwing for 285 yards with 129 of those going to Calvin Johnson. The loss leaves the Jaguars sharing the league’s worst record with the Chiefs at 1-and-7.
