UNDATED (WKZO) -- CBS News is projecting that Republican Presidential candidate MItt Romney will win the state of West Virginia. CBS is also reporting that the key battleground state of Ohio is currently a toss up and there is not enough information to characterize the race in North Carolina.
In Virginia CBS News is reporting the following:
About 45% of voters in Virginia said the economy is getting better, while about 35% said it's getting worse, and just under 20% say it's staying the same. Most who say it's getting better are voting for Obama, most who say it's getting worse are voting for Romney. Among those who say it's staying the same, Romney is doing better than Obama.
In Virginia, around 43% of voters said unemployment is the biggest economic problem facing voters like them. Among them, Obama and Romney are tied. Just under a third said inflation was the biggest economic problem, and Obama did better among this group, 60% to Romney's 37%.
