COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) - The Michigan State Police are currently seeking assistance in locating a Coldwater man. Authorities say Kim Allen Vanlandingham was last seen in Branch County walking north on Old 27 near Girard on Tuesday afternoon around 2 p.m. Vanlandingham was wearing tan hiking boots, dark blue jeans and a dark colored heavy coat.  He is a white male, 58 years old, about 5’ 10” 225 pounds, with blue eyes, long white hair and a long white beard.  He is also believed to be carrying a fold up camping chair.  He suffers from paranoid schizophrenia and is known to seek secluded areas, such as the woods.  He is considered extremely vulnerable to the current chilly overnight weather conditions.  Vanlandingham is believed to be headed towards the Traverse City area, based on past behavior.

Anyone with any information regarding the location of Kim Vanlandingham should contact the Michigan State Police Coldwater Post at 517-278-2373 or Central Dispatch at 517-278-3091.
