LANSING (WKZO) -- A replacement for Public Act 4 could be enacted during the lame duck session of the Michigan Legislature over the next two months.  The law was struck down by voters this week, and Governor Snyder has said he would support a new law.

Any new legislation would likely fall between the current emergency manager law, Public Act 72 of 1990 and PA 4, which gave emergency managers broader powers to do things like void the labor contracts of public union employees.
