MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) - The search has ended for a Branch County man with mental health issues who was last seen walking north of Coldwater on Old 27 near Girard on Tuesday afternoon. The Michigan State Police confirmed for us this morning that 58-year old Kim Allen Vanlandingham of Coldwater is safe and sound after being located in Marshall. No other details about the discovery of Vanlandingham have been released by authorities. They put out the alert mid morning yesterday because he suffers from paranoid schizophrenia and is known to seek secluded areas, such as the woods and they were worried with the chilly overnight temperatures this week.
