Piston’s rookie center Andre Drummond poured in 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds off the bench but Detroit is still winless in six games this season with their 105-to-94 loss last night at Oklahoma City. A defeat for Detroit tonight at Houston would see the Pistons match the team’s worst starts ever that happened back in 1962 and 1980. Kevin Durant finished with 25 points and 13 rebounds as the Thunder improved to 4-and-2. Tonight’s game against the Rockets will finish off a 6-game road trip and then the Pistons will have a rematch with the Thunder Monday night at the Palace. The big buzz in the NBA…Mike Brown is out as head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers. Brown was fired Friday, just five games into the season. The Lakers were off to a 1-and-4 start under Brown. Last night, the Lakers pounded the visiting Golden State Warriors 101-to-77.
