The Kansas State Wildcats knocked Alabamaoff its perch atop the BCS standings, and Oregonheld off fellow unbeaten Notre Dame for the coveted number-two spot in the latest poll. Alabama had been number-one in the poll since its first installment on October 14th, but the Crimson Tide fell three spots after losing their first game to Texas A&M on Saturday. Kansas State, Oregonand Notre Dame each moved up one position after they all improved to 10-and-0 with three weeks remaining in the college football schedule. And there’s still time left for Michiganto possibly capture a Big Ten title after the Wolverines defeated Northwestern in overtime. U-of-M is now 7-and-3 overall and 5-and-1 in the conference with 2 regular season games remaining. Michigan’s win Saturday put them back in the top 25, showing up in 23rd place in the A-P and coach’s polls.
