And there’s no mail delivery but schools are in session today. In honor of Veterans Day, the Library of Congress wants you to interview a veteran. The Veterans History Project encourages people of all ages to break out the microphone and talk to a veteran to get his or her story, so it can be preserved for generations to come. Bob Patrick runs the Veterans History Project at the Library of Congress, which stores countless interviews. Patrick says, quote, "We're not looking for an elaborate production here" -- just a 30-minute or more interview to allow a veteran to give their human experience about what war is all about.
