BATTLE CREEK, MI   (WKZO) -- A Battle Creek woman has been killed in a car wreck, despite the valiant attempts of witnesses to try and save her.  Battle Creek Police say the 37-year-old lost control of her car on West Michigan Avenue near Lamoure Avenue Wednesday afternoon when she hit the curb and rolled the car. She was ejected from the vehicle and the car landed on top of her.    Several witnesses lifted the car and others pulled her out. A nurse who happened by the scene began CPR but the woman could not be revived. She was pronounced dead at the scene from her injuries. Her name has not been released.
