LANSING, MI (WKZO) -- The State’s Jobless rate dropped slightly in October, despite economic factors like the end of the construction and growing seasons that can lead to cutbacks in those industries. Across the state, the jobless number fell from 9.3 to 9.2%.

It was well below the number from this time last year, but still above the national jobless rate of .9%.
