COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) The Branch County Sheriff’s Department Budget plan for 2013 will be further examined today by a group of County Commissioners. The County Board’s Finance Committee has called a special meeting for today to review the budget which has been targeted for a million dollars in cuts after voters earlier this month rejected a millage increase to fund the sheriff’s department road patrol.

Also on the committee’s agenda is another spending plan that has serious red ink issues, the Child Care Fund for the Department of Human Services.
