WASHINGTON (WKZO) -- U.S. Congresswoman Candice Miller is campaigning to be the first female chair of the House Homeland Security Committee. Two other subcommittee chairs in Homeland Security, Alabama Representative Mike Rogers and Texas Representative Michael McCaul are also running for the position.
Miller says that she's told her colleagues she doesn't want them to choose her because she's a woman. She says she hopes they pick her because she deserves the post.
