BRONSON, MI (WTVB) - A three alarm fire yesterday afternoon heavily damaged a home in Branch County’s Batavia Township. There were no injuries in the blaze on West Barnhart road.
Firemen from Bronson, Coldwater, and Union City battled the fire and were on the job for around 4 hours after the alarm came in shortly after 3 p.m.
They found the 1-and-a-half story structure engulfed in flames when they reached the scene. The fire was apparently sparked by hot grease from an unattended kitchen stove.
