Coldwater, MI (WTVB) - There was boy’s middle school basketball yesterday. The Coldwater eighth grade “A” team was a winner at home over Gull Lake 45-to-20. Jacob Beckhusen had 10 points while Sam DeMeester had 5 rebounds and Eric Bach had 5 steals.

The Cardinals also won the “B” game with a 29-to-13 victory over Gull Lake. Austin Butler had 8 points.

Coldwater lost the seventh grade “A” game at Gull Lake with 11 points for Brady Beckhusen.

 Also yesterday, it was Bronson at Mendon. The Viking’s eighth grade team beat Mendon 37-to-15 with 16 points, 19 rebounds and 8 steals for Justin Robinson. The host Hornets won the seventh grade game 41-to-25. Ethan Cossairt led Bronson with 8 points.
